This painting is painted in oils on a panel. The painting is painted in a traditional manner using a black and white Grizzell underneath.
Oil paints are then glazed over the surface to give a beautiful lustrous result.

The painting symbolises the Three-In-One godhead. Father son and holy spirit. It is not uncommon for flowers to be used as symbols as an icon of devotion.
